Applications / Uses
DK Ilmenite is used for production of:
- Titanium dioxide pigments which is used in paints, papers, plastics, textiles grades in TiO2 sulphate route Industry by using Ilmenite with TiO2 content from 47% to 52%.
- Intermediate products like Synthetic rutile and TiO2 slag that are further processed for producing TiO2 pigment by using Ilmenite with TiO2 content 55% to 60%.
- Welding electrodes, polishing abrasives as a added materials along with Rutile sand.
